As a green mom, I am always on the look out for organic skin and hair care products that are safe to use for my children, but still get the job done.  Babo Botanicals' products are made from certified organic ingredients like pure flower and plant extracts. I scrub them until they complain, but when they come out, they still feel greasy and sometimes they even have sand still sticking to them. With Babo Botanicals, they're skin was soft, clean, and grease free. There were no lingering effects of sunblock or any lingering chlorine smells after a day at the pool. I won't be using anything this summer else now that I found this amazing product.

New Age Mama is Planning a Mirror, Mirror Spa Party!

I am so excited! I have been asked to host a Mirror, Mirror screening party at my house! I was already looking forward the premier of this film, and now I have even more reason to get excited. This isn't going to be just any party. It will be a fun spa party! A real girl's night in where all those in attendance are going to get to feel like princesses.  Since this party coincides with my daughter's twelfth birthday, we decided to make it a little mother-daughter get together.  My husband will be at work and I'm going to ship my boys off to grandmas house so we can immerse ourselves in all things girly. Our Thoughts 

I am a die hard Phantom of the Opera fan. I have read just about every book and watched very movie made on the subject.  This year, I even had a modern day, young adult version of Phantom published. I was really excited about seeing this film. I would rather have seen it live first, but with four kids, I take what I can get.  I wanted to love this musical. I wanted it to invoke the same emotions as the musical that started my obsession.   And while I didn't hate it, I didn't love it beyond all reason. Its definitely an interesting plot.  I love the idea of Christine and Erik being reunited after so many years, and I can see him tricking her into coming to Coney Island to make it happen.  But the way some of the characters changed seems unrealistic. Raoul has become a fall down drunk with a gambling problem. Madame Giry is having her daughter strip on stage. And Meg is in love with the Phantom. While some of this is hard to swallow, I definitely loved the idea of Erik and Christine having a secret night of passion and the possibility of them having a child together. The ending was shocking. I never saw it coming. I definitely loved the music. Its a lot different than the original Phantom, but there are hints of the first play within the larger ballads. The voices and acting were suburb. If I were watching this play and wasn't familiar with the original Phantom, it would be five stars all the way. But if you're going to look at this as a sequel that should follow the original, there are holes that make it less believable and slightly disappointing .  I'm still not 100% sure how I feel about it, but it worth watching, and even owning this Blu-ray, just for the beautiful music.
